Tribes

There are cases where tribes (or any other player, really) may want to purchase jump permits on behalf of their members or another player. For example, a tribe may wish to purchase permits for an entire mining fleet or a combat fleet on its way for operations.

FTA supports this by exposing a function to issue a jump permit for any player. The final deployment will also include an interface to do this conveniently. This eliminates the need for every player in a fleet to open the dApp interface and purchase their own permit, and for tribes to transfer currency to each player to reimburse them.

This functionality will be expanded in the future to allow issuing permits for:

• All characters in a tribe
• All characters near the person making the purchase (fleet)
  • With the option to restrict by tribe as well
